Amputee Podcasts Worth Listening To (Real Conversations, Not Just Inspiration)

After putting together my list of movies about amputees, I kept thinking about something…

Movies are great, but they’re still edited, scripted, and polished. Podcasts feel different.
They’re where you actually hear people think out loud, say the awkward things, and talk about parts of limb loss that don’t always make it into a highlight reel.

If you’ve ever wanted to feel a little less alone, or just hear people who get it without having to explain everything, this is where podcasts hit differently. Here is a curated list of Amputee Podcasts!

  • Both hosts grew up with upper-limb differences and learned to find happiness in a two-handed world.

Final Thoughts

Podcasts aren’t a replacement for real community, but they come pretty close on the days you don’t have it.

They fill in the gaps.
They say things you’ve probably thought but never said out loud.
And sometimes, they give you language for experiences you didn’t know how to explain yet.

If there’s a podcast you listen to that I didn’t include, drop it in the comments below. I’m always looking for more.
